Savannah
The first real jump in income. Zebras, Giraffes and Elephants replace your Forest team quickly, and a Lion is the zone's top pull. Toast (Tier 2) is the food that carries you through here.

What Savannah looks like
Dry yellow grass with acacia trees.
Reaching Savannah is a big jump: the very first animal you usually catch here, the Giraffe ($120/s), already earns about 4.8x a plain Pony, the best animal of Forest.

Ordered the way the zone fills up: front of the zone first, the rarest animal last. “Plain” is a Normal-size catch with no mutation and no 2x Cash. Click an animal for its mutation/size income table and every catch I have recorded.

Best food for Savannah
Recommended: Toast, Orange. Food does not change how far you throw – Throw Power does – but a higher-tier food rolls rarer animals, mutations and sizes once you land here.

Tips for Savannah
- Aim for 19–20 on the meter every throw: the Perfect zone gives +20 power, which is often the difference between Savannah and Desert at this stage.
- Fill all 10 starting base slots before upgrading anything else – more earners means faster food purchases.
- Hunting the Lion: land on the far edge of Savannah with your best food and save lucky throws for it. If you are already past Savannah, turn throw strength down with the gear icon.
- Move on once your throws reach Desert (350 – 500 power) – even its commonest animal beats almost everything here.
