Zones

The map is one long line of zones in front of the launch ramp. Each throw lands in exactly one of them, and each zone has its own animal index from common to rarest. Here is every zone in order with the power you need to reach it.

Power values are what I needed for a Perfect (+20) throw to land in each zone. Zones are long, so the low number gets you across the border and the high number reaches the far edge, where that zone's rarer animals are more common.
Zone 1

Forest

Your first carrot lands here. Forest animals are tiny earners, but the zone exists to teach the loop: throw, place the animal on your base, buy the Wooden Bar, train, and buy a better food. You will leave the Forest within your first few minutes.

9 animals · 0 – 150 power

Zone 2

Savannah

The first real jump in income. Zebras, Giraffes and Elephants replace your Forest team quickly, and a Lion is the zone's top pull. Toast (Tier 2) is the food that carries you through here.

6 animals · 150 – 350 power

Zone 3

Desert

Emus and Snakes are the workhorses (around $4,500 and $7,500 per second as plain variants). The Kangaroo is the rarest Desert animal and is the one to chase if you are filling the index.

9 animals · 350 – 500 power

Zone 4

Jungle

Koalas and Parrots are the first animals that earn six figures per second. The Gorilla is the rarest Jungle animal, with the Tiger just behind it – a Huge Golden Tiger with insane luck is a 1 in 48,400 roll and already makes millions.

7 animals · 500 – 720 power

Zone 5

Ocean

Sea creatures take over: Seahorses, Turtles, Jellyfish, Mantis Shrimp and the Goblin Shark. The Seal is the rarest Ocean animal and the Leafy Sea Dragon is second. Getting all the way across the Ocean is the first spot where many players stall for a while.

9 animals · 720 – 880 power

Zone 6

Mountains

Griffins are the stars here (a normal Griffin makes about 2.5B/s, a Large Griffin around 10.8B/s), and the Griffin is the zone's rarest animal. Yaks, Capybaras and the Emerald Llama round out the roster.

7 animals · 880 – 1,000 power

Zone 7

Taiga

Cockatrices, Caracals, Wolves and Kitsune live here. The Fenrir is the rarest Taiga animal and the first creature that hits 100B/s as a plain variant.

5 animals · 1,000 – 1,250 power

Zone 8

Winter

Huskies, Goats, Mammoths and Polar Bears. A Gigantic Polar Bear (1 in 996K) can carry you deep into the mid game on its own. The Saber-tooth Tiger is the rarest Winter animal.

8 animals · 1,250 – 1,500 power

Zone 9

Prehistoric Forest

Dinosaur territory: Triceratops, Pterodactyl, Gallimimus, Spinosaurus, Brachiosaurus and the T-Rex. Despite the T-Rex's size, the rarest animal in this zone is the Velociraptor.

8 animals · 1,500 – 1,850 power

Zone 10

Deep Waters

Whales, Swordfish, Anglerfish, Megalodons, Mosasaurs and Krakens. Megalodon lives here, not in the regular Ocean. The Plesiosaur is the rarest Deep Waters animal.

7 animals · 1,850 – 2,150 power

Zone 11

Hell

Imps, Demons, Gargoyles and Hellhounds. The Cerberus is the rarest Hell animal. Most players fly straight over Hell once Lava Steak (Tier 11, Divine) is bought.

4 animals · 2,150 – 2,450 power

Zone 12

Ancient Ruins

A very long zone holding the Microraptor, Leviathan and Sphinx. The Hydra is the rarest Ancient Ruins animal – a Huge Ruby Hydra (1 in 105M) earns about 1.79 Sx per second.

4 animals · 2,450 – 2,800 power

Zone 13

Mythical Paradise

Winged legends: Raiju, Unicorn, Pegasus, Simurgh, Wyvern and the Phoenix, which is the rarest Mythical Paradise animal. A Raiju at about 15 Qi/s is a massive upgrade from anything in Hell.

6 animals · 2,800 – 3,300 power

Zone 14

Shadow Realm

Black Cats and Cursed Ravens greet your first Dragon Apple; Cursed Owls, Cursed Crows, Shadow Wolves and Shadow Demons live further in. The rarest Shadow Realm animal is the Nightmare – a horned black horse. A plain Black Cat at about 500 Sx/s is already worth more than a Huge Phoenix roll from the previous zone.

7 animals · 3,300 – 3,900 power

Zone 15Halloween update

Harvest Fields

Added in the Halloween update. Ravens, Scarecrows, Zombie Crows, Witch Cats, Jack-o'-Lanterns, Pumpkin Golems and the Headless Horseman, the rarest Harvest Fields animal. A team of Harvest Fields animals is what most players run while grinding toward the last two zones.

7 animals · 3,900 – 4,900 power

Zone 16Halloween update

Phantom Harbor

Also from the Halloween update. Ghosts, Poltergeists, Phantom Dogs, Wraiths and Specters drift around the docks. The Ghost Pirate is the rarest Phantom Harbor animal. You need roughly 5,200 power for your first catches here.

6 animals · 4,900 – 6,500 power

Zone 17Nuclear Wasteland update

Nuclear Wasteland

The current final zone, opened after a live admin countdown event. Sludge Mimics, Barrel Brutes, Reactor Golems, Siren Spires, Rad Scarecrows and Isotope Angels live here. The Waste Harvester is the rarest animal in the game's last zone, with the Meltdown Idol second. A sign at the very end of the map reads “New map soon”.

8 animals · 6,500 – 7,000+ power
