Where to catch the Cursed Owl

The Cursed Owl lives in Shadow Realm (zone 14 of 17), in the front part of the zone. It is number 3 of 7 in the Shadow Realm index. A full-strength throw needs roughly 3,300 – 3,900 Throw Power to land in Shadow Realm.

Foods that land here: Dragon Apple ($186Sx), Starlight Donut, Glow Shroom, Sundae Tower. A higher-tier food pushes the roll toward the rarer end of the Shadow Realm list, so the newest food you own is always the best bait.

Any throw that lands in the front part of the zone can produce it. If you are hunting it for the index, lower your throw strength with the gear icon until the food lands on that spot – distance inside a zone decides which animals can come.

Is it worth keeping?

• A plain Cursed Owl earns 5000x a plain Phoenix, the best animal from Mythical Paradise.
• The first animal in Harvest Fields, the Raven, makes 25000x as much – once your throws reach Harvest Fields, replace it.
• Keep it longer only if it rolled a strong mutation or size (see the table below) or you need it for the index.
